Importance of ‘Header Tags’ In The Process of Search Engine Optimization!

H1, H2, H3….H5, H6; formally known as Header Tags, they are one of the most crucial aspects of SEO services / Search Engine Optimization. Especially, they play an indispensable role in the process of on-page optimization which lays a leading hand in ensuring website’s compatibility to search engine’s friendliness.

There are many people who believe that Header Tags are nothing important but simple content presented on the web pages in a larger font. Placement of Header tags:

H 1 Tags should be used in the Title or Header so that readers can get an idea of the information presented in the content, right at the first shot.

H2 & H3 Tags should ideally be used for sub-headings, introductions, bullet points also for highlighting important lines within a paragraph.

H4_H5_H6 Tags should be used for highlighting other important messages within the content however; their usages are largely based on the user’s discretion.

Social Media Myths; That Needs To Be Cleared Big Times…..

Off-late there has been tremendous increase in the popularity and demand of social media activities, which to a larger extent due to its nature; is also referred as social media optimization. SMO; which is the abbreviation of the term Social Media Optimization, in the present times is considered as one of the most efficient and effective ways of promotion i.e. increasing popularity of a website/product/services etc because it provides a platform from where people can promote their belongings/values among a very large range of audience (and also among the targeted audience). However, for the genuine information of all such people it needs to be said that though social media optimization is a very important form of promotion but still all that is said and what people believe about it is not completely true or is the fact.

Moreover for selling things on social media you need to remember that your approach should be completely different from the traditional web marketing approach. Here you need to have more of a sophisticated style for pulling the crowd first and then letting them know different strategies which will help them.

Misunderstanding no. 3- You cannot maintain a record of all your friends if you start following too many- Well the truth is that you can truly keep record of your friends even if you follow too many and for this all you need to do is to use some effective tools like Tweetdeck, Twitter lists and many more. So if you want to keep a record of all your friends on twitter even if you follow a long list of friends then start using relevant tools and see the difference.

Web 1.0 and Web 2.0..its all about the transition!!

Internet gaining grounds gradually, any new easily accessible tool that comes to be known is accepted by all web users. With the advent of various platforms for the easy use of internet, many people were getting used to web 1.0; but when the next version evolved, it entirely replaced web 1.0 all because it could involve the internet surfers besides the webmasters. It has people from every corner of the world to become a part of one large community. Consequently the web culture has been revolutionized with Web 2.0 touching the internet ground. A few of the changeovers are defined below:

  • When Web 1.0 was in use, it was Double Click dominating the online  advertising services, but with Web 2.0, Google Ad Sense is taking the hold.
  • Flickr surpass Ofoto because of its easy-to-run capability with web 2.0 applications.
  • With the advent of Web 2.0, came the concept of blogging which intends to be interactive giving all information about yourself or your company. This was initially done through the personal websites on the Web 1.0 platform.
  • In Web 1.0, only publishing of articles or content was possible, but with Web 2.0 participation of writers is facilitated.
  • MP3.com, build on Web 1.0 platform, could only allow users to gather information about music, songs, artists etc, but Napster.com that is build upon Web 2.0 platform, allows people to easily share their MP3 files among each other without worrying about copyright issues.
  • Britannica Online, on the Web 1.0 medium, served the purpose of online research results but when Web 2.0 came into being, Wikipedia proved to serve this purpose better because it involves contribution.

Thus we see that the elements that differentiate Web 2.0 from Web 1.0 are numerous. Moreover, if we try to look into the benefits of Web 2.0, we find that it enhances user interface, increases interactivity, and allows the ease to get connected.
